This metapackage depends on various office and desktop applications that are useful for teachers and their students.

The list to the right includes various software projects which are of some interest to the Debian EzGo Project. Currently, only a few of them are available as Debian packages. It is our goal, however, to include all software in Debian EzGo which can sensibly add to a high quality Debian Pure Blend.

La paquet im-switch fournit un ensemble permettant de configurer la méthode de saisie du système X Window, ainsi que d'en changer, en fonction des paramètres régionaux (« locale »). La méthode de saisie est un mécanisme essentiel pour une grande majorité des langues non latines, comme les langues sino-nippones-coréennes (CJK).

Certaines méthodes de saisie comme SCIM ne gèrent pas seulement les langues CJK mais pratiquement toutes les langues, simultanément, en changeant de méthode de saisie avec l'interface graphique.

En installant ce paquet, la méthode de saisie la plus adaptée ainsi que son moteur de conversion en arrière-plan seront automatiquement configurés pour les mécanismes XIM et IModule.

La méthode de saisie pourra ensuite être modifiée avec la commande « im-switch ».
