This metapackage depends on various office and desktop applications that are useful for teachers and their students.

The list to the right includes various software projects which are of some interest to the Debian EzGo Project. Currently, only a few of them are available as Debian packages. It is our goal, however, to include all software in Debian EzGo which can sensibly add to a high quality Debian Pure Blend.

im-switch は、X Window System においてロケールに依存した入力メソッドの 設定と切り替えを行うためのフレームワークです。この入力メソッドは、日本 語や中国語、朝鮮語 (CJK) で非 ASCII ネイティブな文字を入力する際の重要 な仕組みとなります。

SCIM など数種の入力メソッドは、これら CJK 言語だけでなく、ほぼすべての 言語にも GUI でキーボードモードを動的に切り替えることで対応しています。

本パッケージをインストールすることで、最も望ましい入力メソッドとそ のバックエンドの変換エンジンが、XIM および IMmodule メカニズムの両方に おいて自動的に設定されます。

'im-switch' コマンドにより、入力メソッドをさらにカスタマイズすることが できます。
