이 패키지는 AbiWord에서 ODT, WordPerfect 등 다른 형식과 호환되는 들여오기/내보내기 플러그인이 포함되어 있습니다. 또 리눅스와 윈도우 사용자간의 협업을 제공하는 도구(TCP 또는 Jabber/XMPP 사용), 웹 번역, 사전 지원 등이 포함되어 있습니다.

GNU Aspell은 독립적인 프로그램으로 쓰이거나 다른 프로그램 내에 포함되어 사용될 수 있는 맞춤법 검사 프로그램입니다. Aspell의 주요 기능은 Ispell이나 Microsoft Word에 포함된 맞춤법 검사기를 포함한 다른 모든 영어 철자 확인 프로그램보다 더 나은 단어를 제안해 준다는 것입니다. Aspell은 사전을 위한 공유 메모리 사용이나 두 개 이상의 Aspell 프로세스가 동시에 실행 중인 경우 개인 사전을 지능적으로 처리해 주는 것과 같은 Ispell에 비해 향상된 기술을 포함합니다.

Aspell은 Ispell을 대체하기 위해 설계된 프로그램입니다.

Dasher is an information-efficient text-entry interface, driven by natural continuous pointing gestures. Dasher is a competitive text-entry system wherever a full-size keyboard cannot be used - for example,

• on a palmtop computer
• on a wearable computer
• when operating a computer one-handed, by joystick, touchscreen, trackball, or mouse
• when operating a computer with zero hands (i.e., by head-mouse or by eyetracker).

The eyetracking version of Dasher allows an experienced user to write text as fast as normal handwriting - 25 words per minute; using a mouse, experienced users can write at 39 words per minute.

Dasher uses a more advanced prediction algorithm than the T9(tm) system often used in mobile phones, making it sensitive to surrounding context.

pySioGame is a set of educational activities and games for children aged between 3 and 10. The activities are grid based and can be played all in a single window. pySioGame includes maths, reading, writing, painting, and memory activities.

WriteType is a simple word processor designed to help young students write more easily and accurately. It offers spelling suggestions as students type, making the process easier and less frustrating. It also provides the ability to read back text through either an eSpeak or a Festival backend. In addition, there are special tools for teachers, and the entire application is easily translatable.
