slic3r converte modelli 3D digitali in istruzioni di stampa (codice G) per
le stampanti 3D. Taglia il modello in fette orizzontali (livelli), genera
percorsi per gli strumenti per riempirle e calcola la quantità di materiale
che deve essere estruso.
Slic3r gestisce input nei formati STL, AMF e OBJ e può produrre in output
codice G per svariate serie di stampanti 3D, incluse RepRap, Ultimaker,
Makerbot, così come file SVG per stampanti DLP.
Può essere usato con un'interfaccia grafica o in modalità batch dalla riga
di comando.
