These fonts have been developed, donated and GPL licensed by Juan José Marcos for their use in the gnuLinEx project.

Doulos is very similar to Times/Times New Roman, but only has a single face - regular. It is intended for use alongside other Times-like fonts where a range of styles (italic, bold) are not needed.

The goal for this product was to provide a single Unicode-based font family that would contain a comprehensive inventory of glyphs needed for almost any Roman- or Cyrillic-based writing system, whether used for phonetic or orthographic needs. In addition, there is provision for other characters and symbols useful to linguists. This font makes use of state-of-the-art font technologies to support complex typographic issues, such as the need to position arbitrary combinations of base glyphs and diacritics optimally.

In addition, alternately-designed glyphs are also provided for a number of characters for use in particular contexts. The glyphs are accessible in applications that support advanced font technologies, specifically the Graphite or OpenType technologies. These technologies are also utilized to provide automatic positioning of diacritics relative to base characters in arbitrary base+diacritic combinations (including combinations involving multiple diacritics).

KWordQuiz je nástroj založený na kartičkách na všeobecné účely, zvyčajne na učenie slovnej zásoby.

KWordQuiz dokáže otvoriť niekoľko formátov súborov so slovnou zásobou. Podporuje súbory kvtml, ktoré používajú programy KDE ako Parley, súbory WQL, ktoré používa WordQuiz pre Windows a textové súbory CSV.

Anglické podstatné mená, slovesá, prídavné mená a príslovky sú organizované do množín synoným, z ktorých každá reprezentuje ich lexikálny koncept. Množiny synoným sú prepojené pomocou rôznych vzťahov.

WordNet vyvinuli v Cognitive Science Laboratory na Princeton University pod vedením hlavného riešiteľa, ktorým bol profesor George A. Miller.

WordNet sa považuje za najdôležitejší dostupný zdroj pre v oblasti výskumníkov výpočtovej lingvistiky, analýzy diskurzu a mnohých súvisiacich oblastiach.

This package includes some fonts of the International Phonetic Alphabet. You will need these fonts if you plan to view, print, or author documents using the International Phonetic Alphabet. IPA is used, for instance, in dictionaries to represent pronunciations in a non-language-specific way.

The fonts are for use with the X Window System.

TIPA is a system for processing IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet) symbols in LaTeX written by Fukui Rei. TIPA stands for either TeX IPA or Tokyo IPA and derived from the tsipa package, made in 1992 by Kobayashi Hajime, Fukui Rei and Shirakawa Shun.

This package contains type 1 version of the TIPA fonts for the X Window system. It contains the pfb and afm files. The installed X font has the silipa encoding (see http://www.sil.org/computing/fonts/encore-ipa.html).

This package contains a interactive program (conjugue) capable of conjugating Portuguese verbs, as spoken in Brazil. The upstream version is numbered 1.0, but as it is distributed together with the Ispell dictionary for Brazilian Portuguese, it has the same version number as the ibrazilian package for Debian.

Collatinus can be used to lemmatise latin texts, i.e. extract words and make a lexicon which indicates for each word its canonic form, and how the form actually found in the text was derived from it, for instance by declining it. Example : rosam gives : rosa-rosae -- acc. sing. Collatinus provides a nice graphic front-end to each operation.

Collatinus-nouus (stands for Collatinus, new generation) replaces every previous version of Collatinus.
