	            PVRG ist die JPEG-Implementierung der Stanford Portable Video Research Group. 
Dieses Paket enthält das Befehlszeilenprogramm pvrg-jpeg.
Im Gegensatz zu cjpeg/djpeg beherrscht pvrg-jpeg auch die verlustfreie
JPEG-Kompression, welche in den Standards ITU-T T.81 und ISO/IEC IS 10918-1
definiert ist. Unterstützt wird außerdem die verlustbehaftete 8-Bit- und
12-Bit-JPEG-Kompression und -Dekompression mittels eines einzelnen Kodierers.
