Пакет bplay предоставляет простую утилиту командной строки для воспроизведения и записи аудио файлов в простом raw-формате, а также в VOC и WAV.

Чтобы воспользоваться этой программой вам нужна звуковая карта и настроенный драйвер в ядре.

cdown считывает трек и выполняет запрос к базе данных CDDB для получения информации о текущем CD диске. cdctrl -- утилита для управления CD-ROM приводом интерактивно или из скриптов. cdir ведет базу данных содержимого различных CD-дисков, совместимую с базой данных workman.

ogg123 can play both Ogg Vorbis and FLAC audio streams.
