Debian Astro Fedora packages

The astropy package contains core functionality and some common tools needed for performing astronomy and astrophysics research with Python.

This package contains the tools that come with astropy:

• fitscheck: Detect and fix FITS standards violations
• fits2bitmap: Create a bitmap file from a FITS image.
• fitsdiff: Compare two FITS image files and report the differences in header keywords and data.
• fitsheader: Print the header(s) of one or more FITS file(s) to the standard output in a human-readable format.
• samp_hub: SAMP Hub Server.
• volint: Check a VOTable file for compliance to the VOTable specification
• wcslint: Check the WCS keywords in a FITS file for compliance against the standards

Er verfügt über eine große Sammlung von professionellen Ansprüchen gewachsenen Bearbeitungswerkzeugen und Filtern, ähnlich denen, die Sie in Photoshop finden könnten. Zahlreiche feine Einstellungen und Ausstattungsmerkmale wie Ebenen, Pfade, Masken und Skripte geben Ihnen die vollständige Kontrolle über Ihre Bilder.

Zu den vielen unterstützten Bildformaten zählen JPEG, Photoshop (.psd) und Paint Shop Pro (.psp). GIMP kann auch zum Scannen und Drucken von Fotos verwendet werden.

Um entfernte Dateien zu öffnen (beispielweise über HTTP), installieren Sie das Paket gvfs-backends.

Das beliebte Versionskontrollsystem Git wurde für die schnelle und effiziente Handhabung sehr großer Projekte entworfen. Es wird von verschiedenen wichtigen Open-Source-Projekten, insbesondere dem Linux-Kernel, eingesetzt.

Git gehört zur Kategorie der verteilten Quellcode-Verwaltungswerkzeuge. Jedes Git-Arbeitsverzeichnis ist ein vollwertiges Depot. Es gibt also die Möglichkeit, Dateiveränderungen nachzuvollziehen, ohne auf Netzwerkzugang oder einen zentralen Server angewiesen zu sein.

Dieses Paket liefert die grafische Benutzeroberfläche für GIT.

Falls Aspell installiert ist, kann es die Rechtschreibung der Commit-Nachricht prüfen, während sie vom Benutzer eingegeben wird.

Wenn meld installiert ist, kann es zur Anzeige von Unterschieden und zur interaktiven Lösung von Konflikten bei Zusammenführungen verwendet werden.

Inkscape is an illustration editor which has everything needed to create professional-quality computer art. You can use it to make diagrams and illustrations, technical drawings, web graphics, clip art, icons and logos. A collection of hands-on tutorials show you how to combine lines, shapes and text of different types and styles to build up a picture.

A selection of powerful vector graphics editing tools comes as standard. There is excellent support for paths, gradients, layers, alpha transparency and text flow control. An extensive library of filters allow you to apply realistic effects and extensions allow you to work with bitmaps, barcodes and printing marks, amongst other things.

Most of the common vector formats are supported, including PDF, Adobe Illustrator and AutoCAD files, and it has unrivalled support for the SVG web graphics standard.

SEP makes the core algorithms of Source Extractor available as a library of stand-alone functions and classes. These operate directly on in-memory arrays (no FITS files or configuration files). The code is derived from the Source Extractor code base (written in C) and aims to produce results compatible with Source Extractor whenever possible.

This Python module that wraps the C library in a Pythonic API. The Python wrapper operates on NumPy arrays.

SAOImage DS9 ist ein Programm für astronomische Bildgebung und Daten- Visualisierung. DS9 unterstützt FITS-Bilder und binäre Tabellen, mehrere Videospeicher (Frame Buffer), Manipulation von Regionen sowie viele Skalierungs-Algorithmen und Farbtabellen. Es ermöglicht eine einfache Kommunikation mit externen Analyse-Tasks und ist via XPA und SAMP in hohem Maße konfigurierbar und erweiterbar.

Alle Versionen und Plattformen unterstützen einen einheitlichen Satz von GUI- und Funktionsfähigkeit.

DS9 unterstützt erweiterte Funktionen: wie 2D-, 3D- und RGB-Framebuffer, Mosaikbilder, Fliesen, Blinken, geometrische Marker, Manipulation von Farbtabellen, Skalierung, stufenloses Zoomen, Zuschneiden, Drehen, Schwenken und eine Vielzahl von Koordinatensystemen.

Die GUI für DS9 ist vom Benutzer konfigurierbar. GUI-Elemente wie die Koordinatenanzeige, Panner, Lupe, horizontale und vertikale Grafiken, Button-Leiste und Farbleiste können über Menüs oder die Befehlszeile konfiguriert werden.

GNU Screen ist ein Terminalmultiplexer, der mehrere separate »Bildschirme« auf einem einzelnen, physischen, zeichenbasierten Terminal darstellt. Jedes virtuelle Terminal emuliert ein DEC VT100, ergänzt um verschiedene ANSI-X3.64- und ISO-2022-Funktionen. Screen-Sitzungen können abgetrennt und später auf einem anderen Terminal fortgesetzt werden.

Screen unterstützt eine Menge weiterer Funktionen, beispielsweise konfigurierbare Ein- und Ausgabekonvertierung, konfigurierbare Protokollierung, Unterstützung der seriellen Schnittstelle und mehrere Benutzer.

Resample and co-add together FITS images using any arbitrary astrometric projection defined in the WCS standard. The main features of SWarp are:

• FITS format (including multi-extensions) in input and output,
• Full handling of weight-maps in input and output,

SkyViewer is an OpenGL based program to display HEALPix-based skymaps, saved in FITS format files. The loaded skymaps can be viewed either on a 3D sphere or as a Mollweide projection. In either case, realtime panning and zooming are supported, along with rotations for the 3D sphere view, assuming you have a strong enough graphics card.
