Project Ubertooth è una piattaforma open source per sviluppo wireless
adatta per esperimenti con il Bluetooth. Questo pacchetto contiene tutto
ciò che è necessario per usare il dongle hardware.
Ubertooth è in grado di fare lo sniffing di connessioni BLE (Bluetooth
Smart) e può fare anche lo sniffing di alcuni dati da connessioni Basic
Rate (BR) di Bluetooth Classic.
In aggiunta alle funzionalità specifiche per Bluetooth, è incluso anche un
semplice analizzatore di spettro per la banda 2.4 GHz (ubertooth-specan-ui)
che può essere utilizzato per osservare anche altre cose in questa banda di
frequenza.
