A package to reorganize menu branches in order to get a structure easy to use for teachers and students.

Gnucap is a general purpose circuit simulator. It performs nonlinear dc and transient analyses, Fourier analysis, and ac analysis linearized at an operating point. It is fully interactive and command driven. It can also be run in batch mode or as a server.

This package contains a main executable and gnucap-modelgen.

Gpsim on ohjelmistopohjainen simulaattori Microchip PIC -mikro-ohjaimille.

Gpsim on suunniteltu mahdollisimman tarkaksi. Tarkkuus käsittää koko PIC:n - ytimestä I/O-pinneihin ja sisältäen KAIKKI sisäiset oheislaitteet. Siten on mahdollista luoda syötteitä, kytkeä ne I/O-pinneihin ja testata PIC:iä samoin kuin todellisuudessa.

Gpsim on suunniteltu mahdollisimman nopeaksi. Reaaliaikaiset simulaationopeudet 20MHz PIC:eillä ovat mahdollisia.

Gpsim on suunniteltu mahdollisimman hyödylliseksi. Tavanomaiseen simulaatioparadigmaan kuuluvat keskeytyskohdat, yksittäisaskellus, konekielisen koodin tarkastelu sekä muistin tarkastelu ja muuttaminen on toteutettu. Lisäksi gpsim tukee useita virheenjäljitysominaisuuksia, joita usein tavataan vain laitteistopohjaisissa emulaattoreissa: Esimerkiksi jatkuva seurantapuskuri tallentaa jokaisen simulaattorissa tapahtuvan toiminnon. On myös mahdollista asettaa arvojen lukemiseen ja kirjoittamiseen perustuvia keskeytyskohtia (esim. keskeyttää suoritus, jos tietty arvo luetaan rekisteristä tai kirjoitetaan rekisteriin).

Oregano on GNOME-sovellus elektroniikan piirikaavioiden piirtämiseen ja tulostamiseen. Se pystyy simuloimaan piirejä käyttäen Gnucapia, ng-spicea tai Berkeley spicea.

Fritzing is an open source project designed to help one transition from a prototype to a finished project. Aimed at users who want to produce or document circuits and experiments, one starts by building a physical prototype, then recreating it with Fritzing’s graphical editor. From there one can generate a schematic, PCB artwork, and PCB production files.

gtkwave is a viewer for VCD (Value Change Dump) files which are usually created by digital circuit simulators. (These files have no connection to video CDs!)

xcircuit on yleiskäyttöinen, erityisesti piirikaavioiden tekoon soveltuva piirto-ohjelma.

Graafinen käyttöliittymä pyrkii säilyttämään yhtenevyyden X11-ikkunassa tapahtuvan piirron ja PostScript-tulosteen välillä.

xcircuitin käyttö tapahtuu hiirellä, valikoilla ja näppäimistöllä. Pääpaino on yhden kirjaimen makroissa.
