A package to reorganize menu branches in order to get a structure easy to use for teachers and students.

Gnucap is a general purpose circuit simulator. It performs nonlinear dc and transient analyses, Fourier analysis, and ac analysis linearized at an operating point. It is fully interactive and command driven. It can also be run in batch mode or as a server.

This package contains a main executable and gnucap-modelgen.

Gpsim is a full-featured software simulator for Microchip PIC microcontrollers.

Gpsim has been designed to be as accurate as possible. Accuracy includes the entire PIC - from the core to the I/O pins and including ALL of the internal peripherals. Thus it's possible to create stimuli and tie them to the I/O pins and test the PIC the same PIC the same way you would in the real world.

Gpsim has been designed to be as fast as possible. Real time simulation speeds of 20Mhz PICs are possible.

Gpsim has been designed to be as useful as possible. The standard simulation paradigm including breakpoints, single stepping, disassembling, memory inspect & change, have been implemented. In addition, gpsim supports many debugging features that are only available with in-circuit emulators. For example, a continuous trace buffer tracks every action of the simulator. Also, it's possible to set read and write break points on values (e.g. break if a specific value is read from or written to a register).

Oregano is a GNOME application for schematic capture and printing of electronic circuits. It can simulate the circuits using Gnucap, ng-spice or Berkeley spice.

Xoscope je osciloskop, ktorý používa vstup zvukovej karty alebo EsounD alebo hardvér COMEDI. Obsahuje 8 zobrazení signálu, premenlivú časovú mierku, matematiku, pamäť, merania a uloženie/načítanie súboru.

Electric is a sophisticated electrical CAD system that can handle many forms of circuit design, including custom IC layout (ASICs), schematic drawing, hardware description language specifications, and electro-mechanical hybrid layout.

Fritzing je open source projekt, ktorý pomáha previesť prototypu na hotový produkt. Je zameraný na používateľov, ktorí chcú vyrábať alebo dokumentovať obvody a experimenty. Začnete postavením fyzického prototypu a potom ho vybudujete v grafickom editore vo Fritzing. Odtiaľ môžete vytvoriť schému, výtvarné prvky na doske tlačených spojov (PCB) a produkčné súbory dosky tlačených spojov.

gtkwave je prehliadač súborov VCD (Value Change Dump), ktoré zvyčajne vytvárajú simulátory digitálnych obvodov. (Tieto súbory nemajú žiadnu súvislosť s video CD!)

Kicad je sada programov na tvorbu dosiek plošných spojov. Obsahuje editor schém, nástroj na rozloženie tlačeného spoja, podporné nástroje a 3D prehliadač na zobrazenie dokončeného a plne osadeného plošného spoja.

Kicad pozostáva z piatich hlavných komponentov:

• kicad - správca projektov
• eeschema - editor schém
• pcbnew - editor plošných spojov
• gerbview - prehliadač GERBER
• cvpcb - výber puzdier súčiastok

Knižnice:

• eeschema aj pcbnew majú správcov knižnice a editory svojich komponentov a puzdier
• môžete jednoducho vytvárať, upravovať, mazať a vymieňať položky knižnice
• súbory dokumentácie možno pridružiť s komponentmi, puzdrami a kľúčovými slovami, čo umožňuje rýchle hľadanie podľa funkcie
• sú dostupné veľmi veľké knižnice pre schematické značky a puzdrá súčiastok
• väčšina komponentov má zodpovedajúce 3D modely

xcircuit is a generic drawing program tailored for making circuit diagrams.

The graphical interface attempts to maintain consistency between X11 window rendering and the pure PostScript output.

xcircuit is mouse, menu and keyboard driven. The emphasis is on single character macros.
