Based on BioSig library, this package provides command line tools, such as

  • save2gdf: converter between different file formats, including but not limited to SCP-ECG(EN1064), HL7aECG (FDA-XML), GDF, EDF, BDF, CWFB.
  • biosig2gdf: converts biosig data files into GDF, to simplify parsing and loading by scripting languages (e.g. loadgdf.{py,r})
  • rec2bin, bin2rec, heka2itx, save2aecg, save2scp: several converter tools based on save2gdf
  • biosig_fhir: packs biosignal data into HL7/FHIR binary template file.
  • physicalunits: converter for encoding and decoding of physical units according to ISO 11073-10101

CERNLIB is a suite of data analysis tools and libraries created for use in physics experiments, but also with applications to other fields such as the biological sciences.

PAW is an interactive program providing interactive graphical presentation and statistical and mathematical analysis tools. It is designed to work on objects familiar to physicists such as histograms, event files (Ntuples), vectors, etc.

The program is linked statically against the CERN libraries on 64-bit architectures in order to function properly, as its design is not very 64-bit clean.

This package includes Paw++, an interactive program for use in analysis and graphical presentation. Paw++ is the same program as PAW (in the "paw" package), but with a more user-friendly Motif-based GUI, compiled against Lesstif in Debian.

R — система для статистичних обчислень та представлення даних в графічному вигляді. Вона складається з мови з виконавчим середовищем для графічного відтворення даних, відлагоджувача, доступу до певних системних функцій та можливості виконувати програми, що містяться у файлах сценаріїв.

На вигляд R значною мірою вплинули дві існуючі мови: S (Becker, Chambers & Wilks) та Scheme (Sussman). Отже в результаті вийшла мова, що дуже схожа на S з реалізацією та семантикою, успадкованою з Scheme.

Ядром R є інтерпретована комп’ютерна мова, яка дозволяє створювати розгалуження та цикли так само, як і модульні програми з використанням функцій. Більшість доступних користувачам функцій R написані на R. R дає можливість користувачам звертатись до процедур, написаних на Сі, Сі++ або Фортран, для підвищення ефективності, і більшість із основних функцій R дозволяють робити це. Дистрибутив R містить функції для великої кількості статистичних завдань та математичних розрахунків, на які вони спираються. В ньому також міститься великий набір функцій, що надають гнучке середовище для графічного подання даних та результатів обчислень.

На додачу, кілька тисяч пакунків розширень доступні на CRAN (Comprehensive R Archive Network) багато з них також є пакунками Debian, що мають назву 'r-cran-'.

Цей пакунок є збірним пакунком, який полегшує перехід з встановлення пакунків pre-1.5.0 до використання великого пакунка r-base. Після встановлення його можна безпечно вилучити, а apt-get буде виконувати автоматичне оновлення його компонентів в майбутньому. GATE incorporates the Geant4 libraries in a modular, versatile, and scripted simulation toolkit which is adapted to the field of nuclear medicine both in PET (Positron Emission Tomography) and SPECT (Single Photon Emission Computer Tomography). It allows the accurate description of time-dependent phenomena such as source or detector movement and source decay kinetics. The ability to synchronize all time-dependent components allows a coherent description of the acquisition process. It makes it possible to perform realistic simulations of data acquisitions in time.
