CalculiX GraphiX (cgx) est un pré et postprocesseur tridimensionnel pour les éléments finis. Des modèles à éléments finis de CalculiX CrunchiX peuvent être compilés, calculés et post-traités. Le pré et postprocesseur est un outil 3D interactif utilisant l'API openGL.

En plus des fichiers de résultats de CalculiX CrunchiX, les résultats d'OpenFoam, Duns (2D et 3D), Isaac (2D et 3D) et Nastran (f06) peuvent être lus. Pour prétraiter le format natif Netgen, STEP et STL peuvent être importés.

Code_Aster is a finite element solver for partial differential equations. It is particularly suited to problems involving heat transfer, mechanics, fluids, and fluid-structure interactions. It is the product of Electricité de France (EDF) and is ISO 9001-certified.

This is the top-level Code Aster package. It ships configuration files, shared data (such as the elements catalog) and the Python library used by the underlying engine. Install also the suggested packages for a more complete setup with other useful programs.

Le capacités de base de Code Saturne permettent de gérer des flux incompressibles ou expansibles avec ou sans transfert de chaleur et turbulence. Des modules dédiés sont disponibles pour des physiques particulières telles que le transfert de chaleur radiatif, la combustion (gaz, charbon, fioul lourd, etc.), la magnéto-hydrodynamique, les flux compressibles, les flux en deux phases (approche d'Euler-Lagrange avec couplage bidirectionnel), les extensions d'applications spécifiques (par exemple Mercure_Saturne pour l'environnement atmosphérique).

Il s'exécute en parallèle avec MPI sur des machines à mémoire distribuée. Développé depuis 1997 à EDF R&D, il est basé sur une approche à volumes finis co-localisés qui accepte les réseaux maillés de tout type de cellules (tétraédrique, hexaédrique, prismatique, pyramidal, polyédral, etc.) et tout type de structure de grille (non structuré, en bloc, hybride, avec des « nœuds suspendus » (hanging nodes), etc.).

DIET (Distributed Interactive Engineering Toolbox) is a middleware designed for HPC (High Performance Computing) in heterogeneous and distributed environments (workstations, clusters, grids, clouds). DIET provides a standard-compliant implementation of OGF (Open Grid Forum) Grid RPC API. It works in a hierarchical fashion, clients requests computational resources to a hierarchy of agents which will choose the most adequate computational service (known as SeD or Server Daemon).

DIET is the core component of SysFera-DS HPC middleware (http://www.sysfera.com/SysFera-DS,10).

This package include agents necessary to run a DIET hierarchy.

Dime is a C++ class library for reading, constructing, manipulating, and writing DXF file data.

This package comes with the programs dxf2vrml, which converts dxf to VRML files and dxfsphere, which makes triangle mesh approximations of spheres.

The basic capabilities of Code_Saturne enable the handling of either incompressible or expandable flows with or without heat transfer and turbulence. Dedicated modules are available for specific physics such as radiative heat transfer, combustion (gas, coal, heavy fuel oil, ...), magneto-hydrodynamics, compressible flows, two-phase flows (Euler-Lagrange approach with two-way coupling), extensions to specific applications (e.g. Mercure_Saturne for atmospheric environment).

It runs in parallel with MPI on distributed memory machines. Developed since 1997 at EDF R&D, it is based on a co-located Finite Volume approach that accepts meshes with any type of cell (tetrahedral, hexahedral, prismatic, pyramidal, polyhedral...) and any type of grid structure (unstructured, block structured, hybrid, conforming or with hanging nodes, ...).

ECS means "Enveloppe Code Saturne". This package is the Pre-processing module of Code_Saturne (a computational fluid dynamics free software).

FEniCS is a collection of free software for automated, efficient solution of differential equations.

FEniCS has an extensive list of features, including automated solution of variational problems, automated error control and adaptivity, a comprehensive library of finite elements, high performance linear algebra and many more.

FEniCS is organized as a collection of interoperable components, including the problem-solving environment DOLFIN, the form compiler FFC, the finite element tabulator FIAT, the just-in-time compiler Instant, the code generation interface UFC, the form language UFL and a range of additional components.

This is a metapackage which depends on all FEniCS components.

This is the legacy version of FEniCS. You may want to consider installing the next-generation FEniCS-X (fenicx package).

FreeCAD est un logiciel de modélisation au code source ouvert basé sur OpenCasCade, Qt et Python. Il présente quelques concepts clefs tels que l’enregistrement de macros, différents environnements de travail (workbench), la possibilité d’une exécution comme serveur et des extensions d’application chargeables dynamiquement. Il est conçu pour être indépendant de la plateforme.

Actuellement, FreeCAD peut importer et afficher les modèles de conception assistée par ordinateur aux formats IGES, STEP et BRep et de maillages aux formats STL, BMS, AST et OBJ de Wavefront. Les fonctions d’édition et de modèles sont actuellement quelque peu limitées.

Il s’agit d’un métapaquet pour les paquets de composant de FreeCAD.

Gerris est un système pour résoudre des équations différentielles partielles décrivant un écoulement de fluide.

GetDP is a general finite element solver using mixed elements to discretize de Rham-type complexes in one, two and three dimensions.

The main feature of GetDP is the closeness between the input data defining discrete problems (written by the user in ASCII data files) and the symbolic mathematical expressions of these problems.

Gmsh est un générateur de grille 3D d'éléments finis, muni d'un moteur de CAD intégré et d’un post-processeur. Il a été conçu pour fournir un outil de maillage, rapide léger et facile à utiliser avec des entrées paramétriques et des capacités avancées de visualisation. Gmsh est construit autour de quatre modules : géométrie, maillage, solveur et post-processeur. La spécification d'une donnée à ces modules est faite soit de manière interactive en utilisant l'interface utilisateur graphique, soit dans des fichiers texte en ASCII utilisant le langage de script propre à Gmsh.

This package contains a number of utilities for manipulating and viewing Silo files. Silo is a scientific data format library.

Silo supports gridless (point) meshes, structured meshes, unstructured-zoo and unstructured-arbitrary-polyhedral meshes, block structured AMR meshes, constructive solid geometry (CSG) meshes, piecewise-constant (e.g. zone-centered) and piecewise-linear (e.g. node-centered) variables defined on the node, edge, face or volume elements of meshes as well as the decomposition of meshes into arbitrary subset hierarchies including materials and mixing materials. In addition, Silo supports a wide variety of other useful objects to address various scientific computing application needs. Although the Silo library is a serial library, it has some key features which enable it to be applied quite effectively and scalable in parallel.

DOLFIN is the Python and C++ interface of the FEniCS project for the automated solution of differential equations, providing a consistent PSE (Problem Solving Environment) for solving ordinary and partial differential equations. Key features include a simple, consistent and intuitive object-oriented API; automatic and efficient evaluation of variational forms; automatic and efficient assembly of linear systems; and support for general families of finite elements.

Escript is a programming tool for implementing mathematical models in Python using the finite element method (FEM). Because users do not access the data structures it is very easy to use and scripts can run on desktop computers as well as highly parallel supercomputer without changes. Application areas for escript include earth mantle convection, geophysical inversion, earthquakes, porous media flow, reactive transport, plate subduction, erosion, and tsunamis.

Scripts can be executed in parallel (on varying numbers of threads or nodes) without any special modifications.

Escript now includes the esys.downunder module for 3D inversion of geophysical data sets. The current version supports gravity, magnetic and joint inversion.

This package contains the commands and libraries for Python3 with OpenMP threading and MPI multiprocess support.

OpenTURNS is a powerful and generic tool to treat and quantify uncertainties in numerical simulations in design, optimization and control. It allows both sensitivity and reliability analysis studies:

  • defining the outputs of interest and decision criterion;
  • quantify and model the source of uncertainties;
  • propagate uncertainties and/or analyse sensitivity and
  • rank the sources of uncertainty

Targeted users are all engineers who want to introduce the probabilistic dimension in their so far deterministic studies.

CalculiX GraphiX (cgx) est un pré et postprocesseur tridimensionnel pour les éléments finis. Des modèles à éléments finis de CalculiX CrunchiX peuvent être compilés, calculés et post-traités. Le pré et postprocesseur est un outil 3D interactif utilisant l'API openGL.

En plus des fichiers de résultats de CalculiX CrunchiX, les résultats d'OpenFoam, Duns (2D et 3D), Isaac (2D et 3D) et Nastran (f06) peuvent être lus. Pour prétraiter le format natif Netgen, STEP et STL peuvent être importés.

Evaluation of control charts by means of the zero-state, steady-state ARL (Average Run Length). Setting up control charts for given in-control ARL and plotting of the related figures. The control charts under consideration are one- and two-sided EWMA and CUSUM charts for monitoring the mean of normally distributed independent data. Now, the ARL calculation of EWMA-S^2 control charts is added. Other charts and parameters are in preparation. Further SPC areas will be covered as well (sampling plans, capability indices ...).
